When building your personal brand or a brand for a business or organization, it requires a team. I find that it helps with the following:
The team can be a sounding board of selected friends and family. They don’t have to be on a payroll. Take an assessment of who’s in your phone book and begin building your team to help build your brand.
As a person who likes to plan, it’s hard to make steps without knowing all of the answers or enough to be ok with making the steps forward. However, I’ve learned in my journey that sometimes you just have to close your eyes and take the step forward or jump. Life is beautiful that way. I’ve encountered many unexpected surprises that came along with making that leap forward and trusting that small still voice that says “go, it’s ok”. Sometimes that’s all you need. Many of my best experiences came when I didn’t have the answers and couldn’t see beyond three feet in front of me. Despite my knowing this, it doesn’t make it any easier to do. Funny! Even as I write this I am reminded of things that I have to do in faith with no answers. What journey! BUT, I would have it no other way!
Excited to learn that I was selected as one of 100 social entrepreneurs that will take part in a week long fellowship in New Orleans. As a potential StartingBloc fellow, I will learn skills that will help me further my growth as a social entrepreneur. These skills will not only make me more beneficial to my clients as a consultant but also enhance the growth of my company Continuous Good. To help realize this trip, I have launched a campaign on Crowdrise. If you are interested in supporting me on this journey please CLICK HERE to donate. Thanks in advance!
